Their baked goods are obviously great given that they produce their own flour and are a baking supply store. I also look forward to seeing whoever wins Le Grand Prix Elmendorf du Pain every year. (5/5) However, please improve the strawberry matcha latte or remove it from the menu entirely. It is not a matcha latte but more like regular dairy milk that has a hint of matcha, strawberry milk, and then a bit of strawberry puree at the bottom. I’ve never seen such a pale green matcha latte before that just tasted like milk. It’s a $6 cup of milk. (1/5).

Elmendorf is unbeatable. I’ve been on the hunt for the best chocolate chip cookie in the area for over a year now and Elmendorf’s chocolate chip cookie has yet to be beat. The eggplant banh mi is also outstanding and worth a try (and I say this as a person who rarely eats eggplant because of the texture). As for the retail shop, they offer almost everything under the sun and if they don’t have it they’ll work with you to either figure out something that could be used instead — like recommending I use the wider end of an icing tip as a cookie cutter because they didn’t have a round one small enough for the cookies I was going to make (GENIUS) — or they’ll tell you somewhere local that may have it. The assistance you receive here is top tier and the collective knowledge of all things baking (and more!) is unmatched. This place is well worth your time and money. If you’re looking to linger they have a small seating area inside and some seating outside when the weather permits. This place is a well oiled machine and a true staple of Cambridge.

A local treasure! My visitors are all obsessed with the egg sandwich and strawberry matcha. I am obsessed with the strawberry matcha, strawberry buttermilk cake, chocolate malt cake, and the kouign Aman. The staff are truly the best part though. They are all darling, friendly folks who seem to truly enjoy their work.

Incredibly cute cafe. I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast sandwich a lot. Also, I have left with a jar of black sesame paste, pack of dates, and the cutest toddler apron in the history of aprons.

Great place to stop by and grab a quick lunch. Their wifi has a two hour limit, so wouldnt recommend planning on working here too long. Very limited seating & standing room. I enjoy the espresso drinks and Peruvian chicken sandwich ! Have been able to buy some nice quality baking supplies & ingredients as well :)
